Houdini Invitation

A special invitation for a special occasion. This project is a promotional piece that celebrates the life of famous escape artist Harry Houdini with the event held by the International Brotherhood of Magicians on the anniversary of his birthday. Taking on the physical shape of his famous escape tools, the envelope itself unfolds and opens like Houdini himself was escaping. The invite includes special pieces to participate in different activities for the night, such as a séance made famous by Houdini’s wife, or the Breaking of the Wand ceremony, a tradition which was created to honor Houdini’s passing.
